Vivo Watch 5 to Launch on April 21 with AI and Health Monitoring

Vivo is all set to launch the Vivo Watch 5 in China on April 21, alongside the Vivo X200 Ultra, Vivo X200s, and the Vivo Pad 5 Pro tablets. Ahead of its official unveiling, the company has revealed some exciting features of the new smartwatch, which is expected to bring several upgrades over the previous Vivo Watch 3, launched in November 2023.

Key Features of Vivo Watch 5

The Vivo Watch 5 will come equipped with AI-powered running guidance, which is a new feature designed to help users improve their fitness levels. The smartwatch will also include a 30-second blood pressure risk assessment, allowing users to keep track of their health with ease.

In terms of battery life, the Vivo Watch 5 promises up to 22 days of use on a single charge. This is a significant upgrade from the 16-day battery life offered by the Vivo Watch 3. The watch will also support heart health monitoring and offer arrhythmia analysis, ensuring users can keep a close eye on their cardiovascular health.

The watch will run on BlueOS, Vivo’s own operating system, and will come with the Blue Heart Xiao V AI assistant, making it a smart companion for everyday tasks. The Vivo Watch 5 will feature a round display and will weigh just 32 grams, making it lightweight and comfortable for daily wear.

The promotional images suggest that the Vivo Watch 5 will include a crown and a function button on the right edge, similar to the Vivo Watch 3. It will also feature a 1.43-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 466 x 466 pixels, powered by the BES2700BP chipset with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage.

The Vivo Watch 5 is also expected to have 5ATM water resistance, making it durable and suitable for daily activities, including swimming.

With the launch of the Vivo Watch 5, Vivo is aiming to offer an enhanced health-focused smartwatch with a longer battery life, making it an appealing choice for fitness enthusiasts.
